Marry Me brought back all the nostalgia of our favorite rom-coms from the early 2000s. We leveraged the heartfelt tropes and star-studded cast by giving fans insight into what JLo loves about the same films her fans grew up with, and what went into making this film and soundtrack. Quickly trending on social, Marry Me became Peacock’s most streamed film launch.

Talent Activations with JLo

I worked with the talent activations team and design team to ideate unique ways for JLo to market her film. This resulted in a “Guess the Emoji” game JLo played to guess which rom-coms the emojis were hinting at, an “I Do or I Don’t” game in which JLo shared which pick-up lines she loves and hates, and an opportunity for fans to get their questions answered by JLo herself.

Utilized Galentine’s Day to encourage social users to stay in and stream Marry Me with their friends.

Marry Me was the perfect way to share the variety of rom-coms Peacock had on platform, flaunting the feel-good and nostalgic tropes of viewers’ favorite films. They knew they could expect the same with this new day-and-date film.

Collaborated with E! News on Instagram to promote JLo’s live concert put on to promote the film.

Used Twitter as a platform to blast out the news that JLo was performing an exclusive concert users could watch live from their phones on TikTok.

Leveraged the news cycle to flaunt JLo’s personal love story as a glimpse into her on-screen love story in Marry Me.
