Written in 2017, Growing Ghana’s Future dives into the life and work of a cocoa farmer three hours outside of Ghana’s capital Accra. This feature was completed as part of the journalism program at Kent State University and placed in the 2018-2018 Multimedia Hearst Journalism Awards.
Growing Ghana’s Future
As an intern at The Cleveland Jewish News in 2018, I reported on many stories within the Beachwood, Ohio Jewish community. These stories ranged from interviews with attorneys to breaking news and event coverage.
This later extended into a freelance position in which I produced feature articles on health and wellness for their magazine Source.

I worked as a copywriter for Sometimes Always, a 100% online boutique wine distributor based out of Adelaide, Australia. To help drive an increase in traffic and sales, I wrote romantic, wine-enthusiast forward copy for brand emails, Meta ads, social, product descriptions and feature wine packs.
This work was driven by a deep-dive into the education of how wine is produced, made and enjoyed, and the history of niche producers including Bruno Giacosa and Pierre Morey.
Sometimes Always
As an extension of my work with Sometimes Always, I worked with Alpha Box & Dice to write product descriptions, product release emails, Meta ad copy and wine subscription recipe cards and customer letters.
